What exactly is a pop up card?

Our paper crush pop up cards develop their full magic when folding down: Then the 3D pop up element unfolds inside the card in its full size - and ensures radiant eyes and open mouths. A special occasion becomes an unforgettable moment of happiness made of paper.

Pop -up greeting cards have their origin in Kirigami, a traditional Japanese paper art. For our Papercrush Pop Up cards we combine Kirigami paper art with the latest engineering technology, creating magical worlds made of paper.

Made in loving handicrafts

Each of our PaperCrush Pop Up cards is unique and was lovingly handcrafted in our partner manufacturers in Vietnam. We cut out the individual parts of our greeting cards with a precision laser. This can cut even the smallest details and complicated patterns into the paper - this makes our paper crush cards so filigree. From then on we put everything together in a loving manual work. Because our greeting cards are so filigree and complex that no machine could do this detailed work. Pitting together a single card takes up to 30 minutes.

Of course, our paper crushes are manufactured under sustainable, fair and responsible working conditions. We visit our partner manufacturers regularly and convince ourselves of the good working conditions on site
