What exactly is a pop up card?

A PaperCrush Pop Up card unfolds your full magic: Then the 3D element unfolds inside the gift card in its full size - and ensures bright eyes and open mouths. A special occasion becomes an unforgettable moment of happiness made of paper.

Pop -up greeting cards have their origin in Kirigami, a traditional Japanese paper art, more precisely: the art of paper cutting. For our paper crush gift cards, we combine the Kirigami technology with the latest engineering technology, and thus create magical 3D worlds made of paper.

Pop -up cards for Christmas - made in loving handwork

Each of our PaperCrush Pop Up cards is unique and was lovingly handcrafted in our partner manufacturers in Vietnam. We cut out the individual parts of our 3D cards with a precision laser. This can cut even the smallest details and complicated patterns into the paper - which makes our paper crush cards so filigree.

From then on we put everything together in a loving manual work. Because our 3D folding cards are so detailed and complex that no machine could do this work. Pitting together a single card takes up to 30 minutes. Of course, our paper crushes are manufactured under sustainable, fair and responsible working conditions. We regularly visit our partner manufacturers in Vietnam and convince ourselves of the good working conditions on site.
